Talking Love

Anything but love is complex. Yes, love is not complex but one may think it so.

It takes my daughter's birth for me to know that love is far beyond a thought and is in fact completely unbelievable.

In other words, love is what I am, she is, and being that a person is a thought believed, and so conditioned to forget what one is truly,

love is just a thought until I see it isn't. And such is therapy condensed—understanding love is not a thought and I am not a person.

Bhakti and Jnani is the one true science. Blue moon, a crescent moon is setting in my picture window

visible in spaces where no branch is pitch as night. And so I see the sky is clear tonight, my love.

Imagine Miming Shakespeare

This so-called reality
is just an idea
electro-magnetizing
consciousness—
the wheel kills the ground.
Imagine miming Shakespeare.
Time is just the concept
of a god believed—
premonitions, revelations,
and synchronicities are
Shiva's deconstructions.

In the Paradox of Self-Inquiry

Maybe the mind is a tool
dividing
the holistic ground
into a violence of questions,

resulting in some Zhuangzi identities
of this or that belief—
consciousness is the unquestionably holistic
breaking the tool

in the paradox of self-inquiry.

There is nothing wrong with the sun
or anything beneath it.
It's just pure awareness being self-aware,
Jacob.

As the process and its work procedures
are not the finished product—
so my reflection is not
the mirror nor its manufacturing.

Talking Appearances

The following quote appears to be Seung Sahn's translation of a passage from the Diamond Sutra further translated by Stephen Mitchell. But Mitchell is notoriously loose in his translation of the Tao, and this appears to be very loose as well, confusing the Diamond Sutra take on impermanence to be nihilistic. It's not. “All appearance is delusion. If you view all appearance as non-appearance, then that view is your true nature.”

Rather view objects as appearances, or appearances as appearances.

Thich Nhat Hanh: “The Buddha is saying 'All dharmas are impermanent,' but he is not saying that they are not here. He only wants us to see the things in themselves. We may think that we have already grasped reality, but, in fact, we are only grasping its fleeting images. If we look deeply into things, we will be able to free ourselves from the illusion."

In other words, objects are appearances but appearances are not non-appearances.

Further, a person is an appearance. Universal consciousness is not a non-appearance.

As self-awareness is a reflection in pure awareness.

Talking Self-awareness

In duality, one becomes aware that one is one, this one is that awareness, now self-aware.

There is no error but a necessary unawareness in this so-called process of that self-awareness.

Inner awakening does not save the outer world but sees through it, does not play nice with others but focuses upon oneself.

It is not about the unselfishness of this phenomenal me but the selfishness of that noumenal I.

Self-awareness is enlightenment. Don't buy the red herring.

The Concentrated Tantra of Luminous Dreaming

1.

Manifestation is the deepest deconstruction in awakening as contemplative meditation is the deepest sleep of absolution.

I am manifesting this world now to remind myself I’m not the mirror of the mind but pure awareness as reflecting in this being only.

Manifestation is not an error nor is it evil, as failure to learn is also neither. Just teach your parents better in the next light of day.

John Keats beautifully says, beauty is truth. Truth, beauty. But here and now I say this art of manifesting is the law of self-inquiry—

one calls it negative capability or says it's positive deconstruction. Luminous dreaming works in mysterious ways.

2.

Projection is the world. Manifestation is my self. Projection is obscure. Manifestation, lucid. Projection tries to teach the ignorant but manifestation reflects the wise.

3.

Bliss is the default mode of universal consciousness. It's really nothing special. Unless one has been conditioned to think otherwise. Bliss misunderstood is pain and suffering and all kinds of stress.

Self-awareness is the source of bliss as pure awareness is the ground. Bliss is the ground loop between awareness and self-awareness. Being. Consciousness. Love. Etc.

One in a million is a teacher. The rest is just a puzzle to be deconstructed. After projection is prophecy. Before self-awareness is lucid dreaming—"al shal be wel, and al shal be wel, and al manner of thyng shal be wele."

4.

All the world's a past like intent's desire leaving the world in its wake.

No mind is not no love unless no mind is just all mind.

Some like to keep the world around them sparse because the past is such a nightmare.

Some like to keep the world around them half because of love and wisdom.

In other words, denial still is in the world. Imagination is out of this world.

5.

All hail the great and powerful cause. Belief is everything but love is something else. And severe renunciation is the zen of zen if zen is everything and zen is never something else.

Kissing the projection makes it manifestly mine. Self-awareness takes an evolutionary and reflexive universe according to Charles Darwin, Albert Einstein, and Arthur M. Young. Respect the process.

Turning projection into manifestation is just a matter of imagination. Go ahead. Squeeze the shaman. No thoughts, no prayers, no renunciation. No doing. Just intent's desire and a little imagination will do.

6.

Absolute awareness. Intent. Being. Body-mind. Ego and other as the world. After the projection is the revelator. Self-awareness.

Embodiment is like manifesting self-awareness. Imagine self-awareness three times.

Footnote. Embodiment is not embodiment of the body-mind but embodiment of the universal—

both universal consciousness and its manifestation as the universe. Point a finger. Make a moon.

One learns from the world. Self-awareness makes the world. It all depends upon which side of the mirror I’m looking at or being through.

Projection is like owning a home but renting the world. Baby steps goes the teacher. I make the universe. Who needs to own?

7.

First, the mind divides universal consciousness into the universe and then attempts to find the mathematical equations for how it did so as if it's something other than its violence in reverse.

Thus science is nothing more than reverse engineering.

Kiss projection. Embody the manifestation. Wait for absolute Godot. The chorus sings.

Zhuangzi says there's no good without the bad. The way to nirvana is samsara says the Diamond Sutra. Christ is dying for my sins the Desert Fathers and Desert Mothers say. For every conceptual birth there is conceptual death. Or cherry blossoms.

Love is the light between division. Light is before the thunder and after the unknown. I am the unknown. Here's what I love. Voila!

8.

It's like there was a house but now I see it only in my dreams with walls to walk through and everything is coming up self-awareness.

In this floating world, I'm not a person but people swim within me, for every yang there is a yin and every tower there's a fault—

for samsara is actively nirvana, depending on one's point of view, that is, imagination.

As Newtonian physics answers to quantum mechanics, quantum mechanics answers to intense desire, like William Blake’s Jerusalem.

9.

I thought I was an actor! But now I know I'm just the audience, producer, and director.

Every picture tells a story. Dreaming is becoming a reality. Cutting down an apple orchard takes forever. Eating an apple is returning to forever.

There's nothing wrong with the world a little love can't cure because love knows there's nothing wrong with the world.

S/he not going further is misunderstanding.

Luminous Dreaming According to Goddard 1

one: I Am

free from the tyranny of second causes

I AM is that which, amid unnumbered forms is ever the same. This great discovery of cause reveals that, good or bad, man is actually the arbiter of his own fate, and that it is his concept of himself that determines the world in which he lives.

When you know that consciousness is the one and only reality - conceiving itself to be something good, bad, or indifferent, and becoming that which It conceived itself to be –

you are free from the tyranny of second causes, free from the belief that there are causes outside of your own mind that can affect your life.

two: Consciousness

you and your world are one

If your consciousness is the only reality, it must also be the only substance. Consequently, what appears to you as circumstances, conditions, and even material objects are really only the products of your own consciousness.

Nature, then, as a thing or a complex of things external to your mind, must be rejected. You and your environment cannot be regarded as existing separately. You and your world are one.

manifested by the arrangement of your mind

The world moves with motiveless necessity. By this is meant that it has no motive of its own, but is under the necessity of manifesting your concept. Consciousness is the arrangement of your mind, and your mind is always arranged in the image of all you believe and consent to as true.

Magnetism is not generated; it is displayed. Health, wealth, beauty, and genius are not created; they are only manifested by the arrangement of your mind - that is, by your concept of yourself [and your concept of yourself is all that you accept and consent to as true ].

What you consent to can only be discovered by an uncritical observation of your reactions to life. Your reactions reveal where you live psychologically; and where you live psychologically, determines how you live here in the outer visible world.

three: Assumption

a change of consciousness

Man's chief delusion is his conviction that there are causes other than his own state of consciousness. All that befalls a man — all that is done by him — all that comes from him — happens as a result of his state of consciousness.

A man's consciousness is all that he thinks and desires and loves, all that he believes is true and consents to. That is why a change of consciousness is necessary before you can change your outer world.

The first step in the renewing of the mind  is desire. You must want to be different [and intend to be] before you can begin to change yourself. Then you must make your future dream a present fact. You do this by assuming the feeling of your wish fulfilled.

know a thing spiritually only by becoming it

The methods of mental and spiritual knowledge are entirely different. This is a point that is truly understood by probably not more than one person in a million.

You know a thing mentally by looking at it from the outside, by comparing it with other things, by analyzing it and defining it [by thinking of it];

whereas you can know a thing spiritually only by becoming it, [only by thinking from it]. You must be the thing itself and not merely talk about it or look at it.

absolute fidelity to the assumption

Therefore, to incarnate a new and greater value of yourself, you must assume that you already are what you want to be and then live by faith in this assumption — which is not yet incarnate in the body of your life —

in confidence that this new value or state of consciousness will become incarnated through your absolute fidelity to the assumption that you are that which you desire to be. This is what wholeness means, what integrity means.

what the rest of Nature does not possess — Imagination

There is no order in Nature corresponding to this willing submission of the self to the ideal beyond the self. Therefore, it is the height of folly to expect the incarnation of a new and greater concept of self to come about by natural evolutionary process.

That which requires a state of consciousness to produce its effect obviously cannot be effected without such a state of consciousness,

and in your ability to assume the feeling of a greater life, to assume a new concept of yourself, you possess what the rest of Nature does not possess — Imagination — the instrument by which you create your world.
